In early September 2022 we were honoured to work with the Northern Ireland Office (NIO) and a wide range of partners to play a part in delivering the various official events and ceremonies in Northern Ireland which followed the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.
Following years of planning for Operation Shamrock and acting as the Northern Ireland event delivery partner our events team, supported by our comms and creative teams as well as our extensive supplier network moved mountains in a matter of days to facilitate and deliver these significant and historic occasions. Working closely with partners across the public sector we collaborated to manage the various NI events and associated ceremonial occasions as part of the wider UK period or mourning, including the visit of His Majesty The King to Northern Ireland for the first time.
We activated our plans to: manage all media, guest and supplier/contractor accreditation; oversaw venue management; delivered onsite event logistics, communications and infrastructure to support event safety and crowd management; supported all invited guest management; managed design and print of official invites, signage and documentation and supported media engagement and facilities throughout the period.
Truly a once in a lifetime project which was a privilege to be involved with and it is one that will stay in the memory for years to come.
